Our sermon time on May 18th is a response to the call from one of our members to join the sacred conversation happening in many churches about racism and diversity. We are privileged to be hearing from four members of sister communities who call 276 Carroll Street their worship home – two from Covenant Christian Community and two from Divinity Center for Better Living. We will have guests from the two communities and from the National Spiritual Science Center. The worship service will be followed by our Third Sunday discussion time when Seekers and visitors will have a chance to open the dialogue on this important topic. We hope that this will be the first of a series of discussions where our community of communities can explore ways to heal the wounds of racism and bring about the Kingdom of God through the justice of diversity.
