The beginning of this new decade is a good time to take a look at how we relate to money. Money is an emotionally charged issue. Perhaps that is the principal reason it is so often an unexamined issue that generates anxiety and guilt. Authentic and satisfying responses to money are not likely to be found until we shape and wrestle with honest questions about money.
Asking such questions, not providing answers, will be at the core of this two-part workshop. What is your relationship with money? Do you love it? Hate it? Do you abuse it? What does the Bible say about money? What does our culture say? Do your checkbook and credit card statements match your spiritual values? Through fun exercises, small groups and stories this workshop will be a time to talk freely and openly about our relationship with money and how it affects our personal lives, our families, our church, our world.
The workshop will be led by Mike Little and others from the Faith and Money Network, which equips people to transform their relationship with money, to live with integrity and intentionality, and to participate in creating a more equitable world.
