John Morris, one of the writers and musicians in Seekers Church, has just published a collection of short fiction, When I Snap My Fingers You Will Remember Everything. John has taught short-story writing at the Writer’s Center in Bethesda for many years. A book of his poetry, The Musician Approaching Sleep, was published in 2010.

John says, “All these stories have been published in magazines over the years, but seeing them collected in book form is very satisfying.” Author and editor Michael Griffith has called the collection “extraordinary . . . Morris writes with precision, with wit, with imagination, and with a fierce lucidity that he makes look effortless.”
