Liturgies

Our inclusive language liturgies generally set the structure and theme of Sunday morning worship. Since announcements are an integral part of our life together, we offer some guidelines for those who make announcements towards the end of  worship.

REFLECTION

When the song of the angels is stilled When the star in the sky is gone When the kings and princes are home When the shepherds are back with their flocks The work of Christmas begins: To find the lost To heal the broken To feed the hungry To release the prisoner To rebuild the nations To bring peace among the people To make music in the heart.

Communion Liturgy

God of abundance and mercy,

We give joyful thanks

for your eternal love and healing presence

in our celebration of bread and wine.

Bless this body of Christ

that we may attend faithfully

to our call to be your servants,

with each other and throughout the world.
