InterPlay—Seeds of Peace: Celebrating Martin Luther King with Masankho Banda

This one-day community celebration led by Masankho Banda from Malawi has become a tradition in the Washington DC area. Because of the Inauguration this year, the event will be held on Saturday, January 19th instead of on MLK Day. We will be celebrating diversity, peace and community. Joining us in the afternoon will be Bokamoso, a group of amazing young people from Winterfeldt, a township outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. We will sing, dance and drum all in InterPlay Style. The last four years have been great and this year will be no different. If you have not yet done any InterPlay with Masankho and the Bokomoso youth, give it a try — it is a special experience!
